Which exactly are you insinuating?
A ) Sotomayer should not be critized because she is hispanic? What is it about being hispanic that makes one immune to criticism?

This whole "Sotomayer is hispanic, so it will hurt the GOP with hispanics if they criticize her" is laughable. If Republicans were to criticize her in a way that defamed her as an hispanic, the charge would have merit. But all of the attacks on Sotomayer from the right have been about cases (Ricci, Gun rights) or her own words (Wise Latina). I'm not sure where the anti-hispanic attitude is seen to be coming from.

I am a Latina woman, and I am sooo tired of hearing the left use intimidation tactics on the republicans, threatening that they will somehow alienate Hispanics further by voicing legitimate criticisms and concerns. PLEASE STOP SPEAKING FOR ALL HISPANICS.....I dont agree, and I know many like-minded latins like myself . The only Hispanics you will alienate are those that are not thinking of whats best for America, but of which candidate will best represent them and further their particular interests, even if they do not necessarily benefit everyone else.
Sorry, we do not blindly support a candidate simply because we are of the same heritage or of his or her skin color. We judge these candidates on the decisions and actions theyve taken during the course of their careers, and from the comments and speeches that they make both officially and off the record that give us small glimpses of how they think and come to their decisions.
As a daughter of LEGAL hispanic immigrants myself, I can sincerely appreciate that Sotomayor has an incredible sorry worthy of admiration, but that does not negate that she has in fact made some questionable decisions, where further exploration is warranted.
Just because as a Latina I would be on the benefitting side of her racial biases, I am educated enough to see the big picture here and to realize that to favor one race is to descriminate against another....even if the one being favored is mine. And that is utterly unAmerican. It is "Justice for all"...not justice for minorities.

Is it any wonder that MSNBC's ratings are abysmal at best? Let him have his "thrill" because I am sure getting mine watching these emasculated serpents devour their own tails and I will look forward to seeing the blank screen in the future, because that is what it holds for these Stalinist @#$%& in our media. NBC (National Brotherhood of Communists). I am sick and tired of these hypocritical half men and the garbage they spew, the whole lot of them from the WH and congress on down. They are so far out of touch with mainstream america it is sickening and I will sure enjoy their collapse. Good riddance. At least until their Kenya born messiah offers them another handout.
