The smug demeanor of Letterman as he sticks the knife in one more time is really disgusting. His idea of humor is to destroy others. I can't stand him.

He's just signed a new contract with CBS.

When Letterman is faced with a real monster he has them on as guests such as child abuser Alec Baldwin.

Asked about Ireland, now 13, by David Letterman on his show, Baldwin joked, "I see why, in these films where they represent the Mayan culture or any tribal cuture or Hawaiian culture, they always throw the teenage girl into a volcano. They always say, oh, it's their hormones, and I really don't care. They should be sent to some kind of Chinese re-education camp in the mountains for five years."

Here a child abuser is a hero and a mom who treats her kids with repsect is the brunt of jokes. Letterman is insane and so are an ever growing number of people in society.

The only logical answer about what this despicable, vicious slime is saying,

David Letterman is a pathetic excuse for a human being, a barely functional intelligence and a tiny, teeny little male member! He got a reaction from Sarah Palin from his last attacks and was forced by advertisers into making an apology. He couldn't WAIT for his next chance to take a shot at a woman who so far surpasses him in intelligence and world knowledge that it is stunning. Not to mention that she is a far more attractive woman than any Letterman could ever attract, even with all his money! A failed comedian and a failed commenter on world affairs.

Some discussion! If this is the level of intellect of Palin's supporters, I am afraid for the country. Fortunately, I think you guys are in the loud minority.

Yet the sickening praise of Mrs. Obama's horrible wardrobe comparing her to the impeccable Jackie Kennedy is nothing more than LUDICROUS!

I agree Lauren, it is a cover for the idiots that are running this country into the ground. Sarah represents an alternative to the shallow political and media elitists, who couldn't find reality in the real world. Letterman is desperate, the media is desperate. To declare Michael Jackson a hero of civil rights and Obama as having a brain is astounding. We have none of his writings from three universities, no grades no courses of study and now he claims to love Urdu and Pushkin poetry. Yes this is the transparent president - everyone is beginning to see right through him. The messiah has gone from "the one" to the czar of 451 mini-czars because he is to lazy to do the job he was hired to do. Hopefully, Sarah will do a show opposite Oprah and make them all look as foolish as they are.
