I am SHOCKED that spending nearly a trillion dollars on subterranean turtle road crossings and "scientific" studies on why men don't like condoms hasn't stopped the recession... in fact it's even worse. There can only be one solution: another trillion on even less useful projects. We must assemble a brain trust immediately as identifying bigger wastes of money-we-don't-have is no easy task.

Huge threats of tax and regulation for private industry - not a confidence builder?
Unbelievable behavior by our govt. They do not care about our economic problems.
The stimulous could not have been meant to stimulate. None of the money is even spent yet. Kinda like lighting a match throwing it on the coals. waiting for it to go out and then adding lighter fluid. I am not sure what end state Obama has in mind.
The recession will continue to worsen.

So, let me get this straight. We lost some 700,000 jobs in the first two of the previous 3 quarters (avg some 350 thousand a quarter).
Then, this last quarter, we lost 490,000.
How does he figure that this shows job losses declining? job losses are getting worse, you toad.

Wasn't the stimulus bill supposed to help economy. Apparently not since our economy is falling into the abyss. That bozo of a president we have has not one iota of an idea of how to fix the economy in that he has no buisness experience. When all of our politicians get their paws on the stimulus money without delegating it to help with buisnesses what happens next. Just a huge deficit with nothing to show for it.
