These arrogant, pompous "leaders" like Waxman are as vile, conniving and manipulating behind the seens as the Ayatollahs' in Iran. Shame on them and all the cross over votes. They would sell out all there constituants, their so called principals and everyone elses money for power to shove all their ill informed ideas and laws down our throats. Instead of claiming they are helping the common man why don't they simply go home before they further hurt our great country and the average Joe that makes this country go. I am tired for apologizing for their inept actions.

Outrageous that they would vote without debate! Representatives of whom? Just who do they represent? Certainly not conservative taxpayers!

Boehner 2012. This is not the first time - and undoubtedly will not be the last - that he stands up to fraud, vice and corruption. Go John!!

God bless him. Manmade global warming alarmism is making global communism affordable one corporation at a time. Regardless of Gordon Brown's last minute face-saving proposal, this bill and others like it, will destroy the American economy and HURT the world's poorest people.

I'm beyond angry. The so-called "representatives" of We, The People will pay with their jobs. I will spend every waking hour fighting to unseat every last one of them.

It's back to basics, folks. 1776 all over again - go rent the video and then grab your pitchfork and hit the streets!

Boehner was magnificent, and made Waxman look ridiculous ( and even peevish )..more Republicans have got to step with the same reason and passion. With so many polls showing the American people are against this, it is outrageous !!!! PLEASE support ALL those who voted against this.

I am starting today to work on getting my rep out of office and I have old him so...I really don't care about another single thing he may do while in office (he is a freshaman...Jim Himes)...if he is willing to screw us by voting for this he is GONE ... strongly suggest all others feeling the rage I do today direct it towards similiar measures...blog, website, newsletter, form group...they have to learn we will not lay down like sheep to the slaughter as they play their political power games with devastating effects to our lives...they truly think we will forget and they will get away with it..PLEASE show them they are wrong...so very wrong!

Isn't it sad that only 15 of us have commented. The duped will destroy us all.

Yes, it is sad that only 15 have commented on this page; however, HotAir has hundreds of comments. What is sadder is that the House of Representatives can give a moment of silence to remember Michael Jackson, but can't provide time to debate and/or read the bill.

Thank God for Congressman Boehner for slapping down Waxman. I'm noting the NC Representatives who voted for this bill, and will do whatever I can to defeat them.

We are losing our freedoms and liberties.

Boehner knocked it out of the ballpark yesterday, only to be defiled by the 8 Rhinos that abandoned us. They are GONE! I agree with catattack......get off your keyboard, and get in their offices! Cap and tax may be dead in the Senate, so we are told, but, yesterday gave me new vigor to take these gutless wonders to task.
Commenting is new, just wait. As word gets out, we may be complaining that we are in a soup of voices. Enjoy it for now. RCP has earned it's due.

How can Boehner's activity be labeled a "Filibuster"? He was pointing out items in a 300 plus page amendment which had been released in the early morning. (3:07 am). To shine the first light on such a collection of changes, many of which were intelligible, does not fit the definition of filibuster. It should be described as revealing and truth telling in the legislative process. When did it become a "Filibuster" to reveal what the proposed legislation contains? Haven't we had enough voting on things about which we know nothing? This is the House of Representatives not the land of OZ.

I happened upon C-Span during Boehner's comments while channel surfing and was completely enraptured by his words, passion, and principles. I applaud his attempt to foil this sham of a bill which is being touted as "a bold new vision for our country." Obama has been so clever in confusing is by tossing many hats in the air and has gotten away with much - until now! We must be heard! Write to your congresspeople, senators, and president! Now, more than ever, we must stand up for our country and our freedoms!!
