GOP Mired in Anger and Vituperation

By Robert Shrum, The Week

Ronald Reagan was a prophet of the conservative faith, not its grand inquisitor. That truth is lost on the Palinized Republicans who whacked their own moderate nominee in New York’s 23rd Congressional District in favor of a hard-shell, third-party conservative. ... Mired in Anger and Vituperation"

Quite an accurate description of those who stood their ground at Lexington and Concord...

And New York, Trenton, Monmouth, Bunker Hill, Valley Forge, Camden, Cowpens, Guilford Courthouse, Kings Mountain, and Saratoga, etc.

All of these tragic economic programs, although costly, can be undone. The only true risk to liberty, freedom, and opportunity would be the establishment of a domestic security force - filling its ranks with SEIU members, Acorn activists, and misguided students who have not yet entered the real world and earned a paycheck or made a payroll.

If push comes to shove, the true domestic power to restore the republic rests in the hands of the military and the police forces. The vast majority serving in such capacity are centrists and conservatives. Those are the citizens that have in their character the inclination to stand their ground, protect, and serve.
