US Mainstream Looking More Like GOP Mainstream

Is what's going on in New York's 23rd Congressional District a GOP civil war or not? If you ask me, it's not.
The media and their friends on the left, including White House adviser Valerie Jarrett on ABC News, are doing their best to turn Dede Scozzafava's withdrawal from the race and endorsement of her Democratic opponent into another example of Republican feuding over "litmus tests." They just can't help themselves. In fact, Jarrett calls Republicans "more and more extreme," yet it's the liberals who have worked themselves into a hissy fit of angry rhetoric. Take a look at Frank Rich's column in today's New York Times—far more extreme than anything being said on the right: "The riotous and bloody national GOP civil war" has devolved into a "wacky paranoid cult" that is "re-enacting Stalinism in full purge mode." America has not shifted left; never did shift left and therefore that there is no base of popular support for President Obama's policies.
Liberal democrats know this - which is why they are trying to shove as much threw as they can before people are able to stop them. We will be years fixing the mess they cause - years.

The GOP got way off track and away from what their true purpose was.
Look, we all know Bush signed garbage that the democrats started hanging on those bills like malicious little spending parasites. But he didn’t ever VETO them! He just kept SPENDING!
Bush was an “Obama lite” and he was excoriated for it.
The “social” issues should be dead and gone, no matter HOW badly those idiot liberals try to spin these candidates as having “caved” to the radical right anti abortion crowd. Listen to the MESSAGES, and you hear FISCAL RESTRAINT messages. Lower taxes, less government, more efficiency.
The SAME THINGS Obama tried to portray when he ran. That’s right. Obama ran on a CONSERVATIVE platform. Obama’s problem? He didn’t believe a word he said. And it’s becoming obvious. He never meant a word.
The simple fact is, LOOK AT THE INDEPENDENTS flocking to the FISCAL CONSTRAINT messages. The way they did to Obama. “Tax cuts for families” and “tax cuts for companies that hire Americans” and “go through the budget line by line.” Ring a BELL?
The liberals are trying everything they can to “discredit” the fiscal conservatives now, because HORROR OF HORROR! The people are LISTENING, and. . well. . .THEY WANT THAT. Duh?
Obviously the INDEPENDENTS aren’t listening to the far left idiots anymore, thank goodness.
The liberals are horrified. They denigrated the tea parties, called them names, dismissed the protests, made fun of the town hall people, ignored the march on Washington . . . .and look!

Virginia is not only poised for the gubernatorial candidate, it is poised for a WHOLE SALE DEMOCRAT WIPE OUT all the way down the BALLOT. Remember, the voters can split their votes, but all indications are, they’re not GOING to. They’re GOING TO WIPE THE SLATE OF ANY AND ALL DEMOCRATS.
Liberals and MSM are already spinning “it doesn’t mean anything” and saying things like it may not necessarily be true, just look at Warner and Kaine n Virginia, blah blah.
Ahhhhhhh, but THOSE elections weren’t WIPE OUTS. This is looking like a LAND SLIDE WIPE OUT SWEEP for the GOP. First time in 12 years.
And THAT should scare the snot out of every single democrat out there.
Just a few months ago, the democrats were BRAGGING about turning Virginia “blue.” Sure looks beet red angry NOW, doesn’t it?
Mediocre democrats in republican leaning areas with fiscal conservative roots. They should be VERY petrified. Because they were an accident of 2008. If they want to make themselves REAL, they better know which side is coming for them. And being an “obama lite” is going to get them UNEMPLOYED with the rest of us.
REPUBLICANS who pretend to be “Obama lite” also will be thrown out with the rest of them. AND THEY SHOULD BE!
Newt is just EMBARASSED that he endorsed someone who supports CARD CHECK, had an endorsement from an ACORN group, would have supported the stimulus plan, and HIGHER INCOME TAXES. Newt SHOULD be embarrassed. She was the antithesis of everything HE USED to stand for during Contract with America. But now, with presidential aspirations, he endorsed a boondoggle, and is trying to bad mouth people for turning away from her, and hence, not LISTENING to him, who has “leadership” aspirations.
For someone who is usually pretty astute, he blew this one really badly.
Make no mistake about it, Virginia is a statement. People don’t support what Obama and the democrats are doing. If it’s a land slide wipe out all the way down the ballot, that’s a MANDATE, no matter what the liberals try to say.
And it’s not an “anti incumbent” message either, like some of the other lame people are trying to white wash it as. THE FISCAL CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN INCUMBENTS are leading by DOUBLE DIGITS.
